Having completed five rounds across the country, winning the main final in the first four, James Lowther has finally been crowned British Champion for the Junior Rotax Class in the final round at the PFI Kart Track in Lincolnshire.
Supported throughout his fledgling career by CA Group, James went into the final round leading the championship by 3 points. He qualified fifth, finished second in his first heat and won his second heat which placed him on pole position for the pre-final where he finished fifth. Going into the main final James had to finish in the top twelve to secure the British Championship. He finished in third place taking the crown.
James will now attend the British Championship presentation being held at the Autosports Show at the NEC in Birmingham in January and now moves up to compete at senior level in the 2019 season.
