Business Administrator - CA Roofing Services Division

Providing clerical and administrative support and assistance within the CA Roofing Services Division.

Drawing Office Job Summary / Key Responsibilities:

> Store and retrieve information from manual and electronic systems

> Answering incoming calls and emails

> Document management

> Monitoring of site progress reports

> Organise and post TNT deliveries

> Gain a basic knowledge of AutoCAD

> Monitor drawing office time logs on a weekly basis to plan allocation of hours to a job

> To compile ‘as built’ drawings using AutoCAD upon completion of a project

> Receiving and distribution of faxes within the Division

> Photocopying, filing and scanning

> Other duties as instructed by Line Manager

Purchasing Department - Job Summary / Key Responsibilities:

> Logging of CARS/SCS site extras

> Scanning and sending of site documents

> Checking off order acknowledgements and filing

Plant Controller - CA Roofing Services Division

To be the point of contact between CARS site team, CARS drawing office and internal and external supply chain.  Responsible for scheduling deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

> Liaise with suppliers to ensure items are delivered when requested and inform site of any possible delays

> To input all order details onto call offs and issue call offs to suppliers and contract team

> Work closely with the site teams and make visits to site when needed to determine site restrictions and progress of contract for programming purposes

> To log and close out all non conformance reports from site teams with Quality Engineer

> To check all orders against reservation orders to ensure correct materials are being used and correct rates are being charged

> Liaise with CA Building Products planner to schedule deliveries around workloads and prioritise orders for site

> Set up and modify contract data, materials, and contract costs on SAP

> To attend launch meetings and liaise with the Estimating Team on contract specifications and restrictions on site

> To liaise with Drawing Office Co-ordinator regarding orders which are not ordered as and when the call off dictates

> Amend contract programmes in line with any changes made by the site teams

> To ensure site teams place orders as soon as possible to ensure our buying departments can arrange deliveries as required, on time and with no delay

> Cover order input / plant hire in case of absence

> Other duties as instructed by Line Manager

The Assistant Buyer reports to the Senior Buyer in support of the purchasing function of the business

HR Officer - Human Resources Department

Key Responsibilities:

>  Deliver a high level HR service to support the business through continued growth

> Support the business in growing robust and effective HR processes and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

>  Preparing and agreeing valuations with clients and ensuring payments are received in accordance with subcontract agreements

>  Preparing accurate take off of material quantities from drawings

>  Pricing of contract variations

>  Preparing subcontractor payment certificates, calculation and allocation of subcontractor payments and updating spreadsheets accordingly

CA Group Ltd requires an Estimator within their Roofing Services Division. The individual will require creativity to assess the quotation specification and formulate the most cost effective solution. >  Establish and develop close working relationships with clients, architects, contractors.

>  Prepare detailed estimates by gathering all data required to formulate budget costings.

>  The review and preparation of tender documents.

>  Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.

>  Responsibility for estimating the total project cost, including design, procurement, manufacture and delivery.
