Job Summary/Key Responsibilities:
> Deliver a high level of administration support to the HR Department
> Handle first line HR queries on HR policies and procedures
> Write and place job adverts both internally and externally
> Support in the sourcing of candidates and arrange interviews
> Review application forms and assist with the selection process, responding to all applicants
> Preparation of HR documentation, including (but not limited to); offer letters, contracts of employment and induction
> Input of all new employee details onto HR systems
> Organise training courses with colleges and training providers
> Regularly update the Company’s training matrix to ensure all ongoing and completed training is accurately recorded, to ensure training requirements can be assessed and identified
> Daily management of the Company’s time and attendance system including weekly and monthly timesheet processing
> Provide reporting on staff turnover, sickness, absence and timekeeping
> Preparation of paperwork for Line Managers for disciplinary and grievance meetings
> Attending disciplinary and grievance meetings and taking accurate notes
> Support the HR Manager with the Company’s occupational health programme; ensuring that employees are screened in line with H&S legislation
> Maintaining accurate and up to date HR systems, records and databases (Excel and Word)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
> CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable
> Previous experience within a HR role is desirable

Department: Technical Department
Responsible to: Technical Manager
Working as part of an established technical team the successful applicant will be enthusiastic and passionate, possess a hunger to learn & develop new skills and demonstrate clear & confident communication. The ideal candidate will be working towards or have recently achieved a degree level qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline (structural, mechanical, civil etc), and will receive on-the-job coaching & mentoring to progress towards the role of Technical Engineer. Training in the use of software packages such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla TEDDS will also be provided internally.
Under the supervision of the Technical Manager the Junior Technical Engineer will be enrolled upon a strategic Employee Development Plan (EDP), specifically tailored to promote personal competence for future progression within the technical team and/or group of companies.
Key Responsibilities
> The development of long standing relationships with architects, main contractors, and roofing contractors as you assist in the delivery of construction projects from conceptual design, through to tender, installation and completion
> The production of design concepts, supporting sketches and detailed technical drawings for CABP systems & components
> Conduct wind / snow load calculations to current European standards and provide advice & recommendations in line with the requirements of CA Group building envelope systems
> Conduct project specific gravity drainage calculations and thermal analysis (u-value, psi-value & chi-value)
> Use in-house management systems and computer software packages to provide technical support to external customers, specifiers and internal departments
> Generate new and update existing technical documentation such as specification, detail & component drawings, Technical Information Papers (TIPs), installation guides and product renders
> Become proficient and technically competent in all aspects of departmental responsibilities, including;
- The interpretation of technical drawings and specifications
- Engineering drawings, part assemblies and structural calculations using Finite Element Analysis
- Understanding current and developing new methods of construction and manufacturing processes
- Supporting the development of existing and new product lines, including innovation in new markets, materials and supply chain partners
- Knowledge of current and previous Building Regulation requirements (Part L, Approved Document B etc)
> Support the technical team in the installation and testing of systems and components in accordance with project constraints and regulatory requirements

Department: CA Building Products
Responsible to: Department Supervisor
Responsible for: A Sheet Metal Worker reports to the Department Supervisor and is responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products
Job Summary/Key Responsibilities
> Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal
> T.I.G. welding of aluminium and stainless steel
> M.I.G welding of mild and galvanised steel
> Working with materials 1mm to 6mm thick
> To read and correctly interpret engineering drawings
> Development and pattern making
> Drilling and punching
> To work to deadlines to meet customer requirements

Key Responsibilities:
> Implementation of procedures as set out in the Site Manager’s Site Safety Pack
> Implement Method Statements and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations
> Monitoring safety standards on site and action as required
> Co-ordination and distribution of materials from date of shipment through to site installation
> Inspect and check that all deliveries are complete and free from damage, delivery tickets and orders check/sign off are complete
> Producing, maintaining and issue of daily records including obtaining of site instructions and day works accordingly including the recording of delays/hold up’s etc
> Monitor on site progress versus programme and action as required to maintain progress in line with programme period
> Site adopting/creating systems of work and preparation to enable a more efficient utilisation of labour plant and materials
> Organising and controlling of sub-contract labour including dealing with payments and disciplinary matters
> Controlling plant and materials including costs
> Ensuring high standards of workmanship and good housekeeping are achieved at all times
> Ensuring works are completed, de-snagged and handed over as works progress
> Ensuring the works are installed and completed in accordance with the specification, the relevant QA procedures
> Implementation and control of site QA procedures

> Confer with engineers/contractors and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve machine malfunctions and provide technical information
> Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation
> Provide feedback to managers with a degree of accuracy
> Able to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
> Establish and co-ordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and supply of materials required for maintaining machines and equipment in the prescribed condition

The ideal candidate will be qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline (preferably Structural or Civil engineering) and have an understanding of software packages such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla TEDDS.
You will play a key role in product innovation, managing individual projects and providing support to various in-house departments and processes as well as developing fundamental relationships with CA Group’s established network of architectural and contracting teams. You will provide technical guidance and specification support for CA’s building envelope systems as you assist in the delivery of construction projects from conceptual design, through to tender, installation and completion.
Under the supervision of the Technical Manager the Technical Engineer will be enrolled upon a strategic Employee Development Plan (EDP), specifically tailored to promote personal competence for future progression within the technical team and/or group of companies.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the design and specification of CA Group metal roof and wall cladding systems, industrial drainage systems, rainscreen systems and fabricated accessories

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
> Qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline (structural, mechanical, civil etc)
> Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a suitable role
> Experience in dealing with Architects, Main Contractors and Roofing & Cladding Contractors, with the ability to communicate well and build strong relationships at all levels
> Be hardworking and self-motivated with an ambition to succeed and progress within a rewarding career
> Have the ability to work as part of a team and to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
> Excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and organisational skills
